Brittany Rambone is a senior at Middle Georgia State University, where she majors in English/Professional Writing and minors in Information Technology (IT). She graduates on December 11th, 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts degree (BA); she is overjoyed to be nearing the finish line. Next stop, grad school?
Brittany (and her dog, Xaia) resides in a small town in Wyoming surrounded by the Wind River Range mountains. She is a GM (General Merchandise) manager at the biggest retail store there and loves making a difference in her small community; in the summer she gets to see endless tourists from all over the world passing through on their way to Yellowstone, which is always interesting!
Brittany’s hobbies include:
- collecting books
- reading
- listening to music (especially Chris Stapleton)
- writing
- traveling
- getting tattoos
Brittany is an open book; she loves- and finds it necessary/crucial- to openly discuss hard topics. As someone who endured severe neglect and abuse growing up as well as being a sufferer of things ranging from a traumatic brain injury and fibromyalgia to severe PTSD and depression (plus more), Brittany is passionate about removing the fear and stigma surrounding topics such as grief, mental illness, chronic illness, childhood trauma, addiction, burnout, and other difficult issues. Her ultimate goal? To be happy with the life she creates for herself; to help other people feel less alone; to raise awareness of the ramifications of childhood trauma/abuse (psychologically in particular); and to travel to beautiful countries, have new experiences, and engage in other cultures.
Here are some academic accomplishments she is particularly proud of:
- Summa Cum Laude graduate (3.95 GPA)
- President’s List Scholar
- Recipient of Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship
- Studied abroad in Waterford, Ireland
- First-generation college graduate (high school, too)
- Recognized by Congress as a facilitator of international relations between US and Republic of Ireland
